职业背景

Following a solid early career and management training with major international industrial and chemical companies in which I achieved success in sales and marketing roles, I started my own company aged 30, attracting investment from an Angel myself. My company designed and manufactured safety equipment for the building and structural maintenance industry.

I developed a significant export business (70% of the company’s turnover) and the company won the Queens award for export in 2011. I acquired one company and successfully integrated it and in 2011 following an approach from a major international safety group, sold the business, staying on as part of the management team for a year to support the integration. I am an individual investor and am happy to be hands on if required or support in an advisory capacity. I am equally happy to be a silent investor if I had confidence in the opportunity and/or management team.
