I have been a Managing Director of a successsful Company for 30 years,which I sold in September 2007, Alongside this I also ran a small transport Company. I have a wealth of experience in manufacturing, marketing, sales and managing through difficult financial circumstances. I am particularly interested in the whole manufacturing production process. I am trained in Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing. I enjoy on site liaison with architects and builders but also enjoy the interaction with customers and end users. My Company made high quality garden ornaments and stonework for buildings. I have experience of taking new products to market - showing at major exhibitions at home and abroad, managing through several recessions in difficult financial circumstances, managing change ( our Company moved 4 times ) dealing with architects and builders, managing projects and much more. I also have good face to face skills. I am a lateral thinker and I pride myself on my problem solving skills
